Sub 70 699 Pro v2 Irons

The new 699 Pro v2 is a hollow body players distance iron with increased ball speeds and forgiveness. The channel back from the original 699 Pro has been expanded in the new model, which provides further improvement in forgiveness on off-center strikes. Black 699 v2 irons feature a state of the art coating called DLC, which stands for "diamond like carbon." DLC coatings are 8 times stronger than steel and are highly scratch and fade resistant, which means that unlike many other black golf clubs, Sub 70's black coatings are nearly impervious to wear. Black finishes reduce glare and offer contrast to the ball and surroundings, which some players find assists in aim and contact.

Taper Vs Parallel
There are two common shaft tip diameters which are .355" (Taper) and .370" (Parallel). Some shaft models are only manufactured in one diameter (Parallel or Taper) and the club head hosel has to be the same diameter to build the club properly. In order to offer more shaft options for our customers we have added .355" Taper diameter heads to several of our product lines.
